  • 1.  Mesh IAP managed with Airwave

    I have an IAP group, managed by airwave.  I have recently configured an outdoor IAP-275 as a mesh point.  I would like to know this:

     

    How do I configure the mesh point to backhaul on 5.8GHz and use 2.4 GHz for client connections? Can this be configured through Airwave?

    can someone point me in the right direction. Any help is appreciated!

    For IAP, mesh will always be 5Ghz only. If you want to run it such that the 5Ghz is locked to mesh backhaul only (no clients), you would need to create an SSID that is configured as 2.4Ghz only. Not sure if that can be done from AIrWave or not, I don't have one up to test with. You may need to put the point and portal into a specific Zone where the 2.4Ghz only SSID is created.
