  • 1.  MM l3 redundancy

for L3 mobility master redundancy, I want to add a second VM machine as a standby MM. now all my MDs are pointing to the existing MM and they are not configured for L3 redundancy (L3 redundancy is disabled on all my MDs)

Is there a way to add this on my MD's or do I need to reconfigure them from 0 ?

    thanks

In configuration> Controllers, you would enable L3 redundancy and those options can be configured.  This can be configured at a higher folder so that it propagates to all controllers in that folder and below.   There is a secondary controller option just below it.

I dont have this option on my controllers, we are running 8.5.0.10 AOS

but I just find out I can enable it from the cli, dont know why I cannot do it from the web interface

@ioanf you can configure this from the MM GUI, but you need to define it on the MDs individually. From your Managed Network hierarchy, click on the MD's below the folder you were in and you will see the options appear like Colin's.
