  • 1.  Mobility Conductor isnt showing APs in dashboard after downgrade

    Hi everybody,

I have an issue with a MM not showing any APs on the dashboard after a downgrade.

I tried to upgrade the infrastructure from 8.7.1.4 to 8.10.0.4, but after the upgrade, the wifi calling wasn't working correctly, and with the urge, I had to downgrade back to 8.7.1.4. The wifi calling was working back, but I lost all my APs on the dashboard.

I tried rebooting it and it wasn't better. I tried to upgrade to 8.7.1.5, and didn't changed either.

What should I do to get back the APs on the dashboard ?

    Thanks.

On the commandline, can you see all of the APs in "show ap database"?  If yes, try clearing your browser cache.

Thanks for your answer, I forgot to say that I'm able to see the APs on CLI, but I can see them only in the web interface.

I'm not the only one with this issue, anyone who connect to the MM can't see the APs, son I don't think it's related to the cache.

I tried to clear the cache and it's still not working.

I just downgraded from 8.10 to 8.7 and have the same issue. Were you able to resolve this? I really need the web GUI for monitoring.

TAC was able to resolve this. In 8.10, there's a terminology change for the Mobility Master to Mobility Conductor. This terminology change causes the problem for whatever reason. When a downgrade occurs, the following command needs to be run on the MD folder from the CLI:

(ArubaMM) [md] (config) #mgmt-server primary-server 10.0.0.100 profile default-controller transport udp
    (ArubaMM) [md] (config) #write mem
