As Gowri has confirmed, here you can generate the customer report per role. With Airwave you can get that data.
Or also in the clients tab, you can see the username and role of these clients.

Under Client session Report, there's option to run 'session Data by Role' . This should give total usage and more other options per role. you can just run custom report to have this option only instead of running the entire Client session report.

Hi Daniel and Cordless,
I'm using Airwave to monitor clients per SSID and their traffic usage. However, I'm not sure if it can track traffic usage based on user-role.
Do you know how to do this?
Thank you for your reply.

Hello,
In addition to CPPM, what solution do you have in place, do you have in your Airwave network solution, Aruba Central? To see how you could do the monitoring you mentioned by user-role.

What Network Management Solution do you have in place?
I am not aware that you can get this information by CPPM. Insight gives you Accounting Information based on User / Endpoint Type but not by VLAN or User-Roles.

Hi,
I've configured CPPM to act as a RADIUS server, assigning VLANs and user-roles to users. Since multiple roles can share a VLAN, I'd like to know if there's a way to monitor network traffic usage for each user-role individually
Does anyone have any ideas on how to handle this?
Thanks a lot
