I've tried numerous ways to set up the Guest VSC. Preferred method would be to send all traffic on the Guest VSC out the Internet port where a Cisco ASA 5505 is waiting to respond to DHCP requests. As far as I've been able to determine, DHCP requests cannot be sent out the Internet port.
It looks like what I'm going to have to do is route the Guest VSC out the LAN port, which is connected to a Procurve 2910. DHCP for both the Corporate and Guest VSC will be handle by an external DHCP server. Connect the public-configured port of the 5505 to the 2910 to route Guest VSC traffic out to the internet.
Do not use the Internet port for anything appears to be the solution?
Seriously, though: Is there no way to send DHCP requests from the Guest VSC out the Internet port to the 5505? The Internet port itself can be issued an IP address by the 5505 if I set the port to DHCP.
