  • 1.  MSP mode - Give granular access to a tenant user

    Posted Dec 14, 2020 06:46 AM
    Hi guys,

I'm struggling with Aruba Central MSP account and users rights.

I'm trying, as MSP admin, to create a user having access only to his tenant for example I would create a Tenant Admin user. I'm following the guide below:

User Accounts and Roles in the MSP Mode

It seems to be possible to define a new user and role but I cannot assign the just created user and role to any tenant. It should be possible for sure but I cannot find any option to do that.

Every multi-tenant environment give the possibility to assign users and groups to a specific customer tenant with their own access rights, but here in Central I cannot see this possibility or at least it isn't so easy doing that.

What I'm missing? Is there someone that got the same issue before?

    Thanks,

    Fausto

    Hi fausto,

haven't worked with MSP mode for some month, but have you tried to create the user/role within the tenant/customer?

    Hi Florian

as you said I created the user directly in the target tenant and it worked. Thanks to Aruba support that managed the solution.

    Many thanks to all!!!
