I've got the above (on the latest firmware - KB.16.11.0013) and can connect it to a Cisco Nexus using 10G SFP+LR module. Can established connectivity with the necessary VLAN's and other necessary things to get user access our DC via SMF fibre connection.

However, I notice a lot of input errors on the Trunk and the port-channel interface as well as the actual member interface. So, on the Cisco end I change the MTU to 9216 and that clear the errors on the Cisco end.

However, I can't find the necessary command to enable the MTU to 9216 on the Trunk or the member interface. There is a global command that I've enabled but I never see this when I do a "show configuration"

    jumbo max-frame-size 9216

Probably I'm missing something that I need to configure. Can somebody direct me to a document where I can go through to get this command?

    Let me know.

I've got this sorted out via a support case. In case someone else stumble across this issue, here is the solution.

    1. As the procurve series of switches does not have connected interfaces, but rather vlans instead; Therefore the application of jumbo frames is to be applied on the vlans itself, and not on any physical interfaces per se.

    2. Go to the vlan then apply jumbo as below.
    3. Confirm

    Hope this helps
