    Hi,

when doing 'display ip int brief' on comware switches, I see some MTunnel interfaces. can someone please advise what are these interfaces for and how to assign them to a specific VRF.

    Thanks

On HPE Comware switches, MTunnel interfaces (Multicast Tunnel interfaces) are used for multicast traffic forwarding, especially in scenarios where multicast needs to be transported across an IP core that does not support native multicast routing. These interfaces are often used in NG-MVPN (Next-Generation Multicast VPN) deployments and multicast over GRE scenarios.

Provide the product number and/or model of switch and ill check. There are a few guides on how to on HPE support pages.
