    Hi,

I would like to know if its possible to connect a NBX R6 with a SIP/VOIP Service Provider like Vonage, Inphonex, etc.

Like, some place to put username, password and sip proxy.

If isnt supported by NBX can I do it with anyother device integrated with NBX?

    Tkz!

no, not possible. 3Com is not currently supporting SIP providers on NBX, only on their VCX product I am told.

    Hi bosoxfan!

Ok, I know that its not supported by NBX as default but I i'm doing this by integrating Asterisk + NBX and I can place calls normaly, the thing is that for incomming calls all of them are droped with 3 or 4 minutes of duration. Any suggestion?

    wow...

only thing I can say is you need to find out who is disconnecting.. a network trace should tell you and why.. .maybe registration is timing out??? Not sure what is going on.....

Are you using Asterisk analog lines ?

Sounds like a possible loop current issue maybe ? Don't know of any settings in Asterisk for that . I agree with Bosoxfan that you should trace it out . Maybe some asterisk logs as well .

I had researched a bit for similar cases people tell that most of the

times are router problems but using xlite it dosent happen i think is

something like a ttl (time to live) for the connection between asterisk

and nbx. Did someone tried this before??

Will 3com launch sip service provider support for NBX?

    Tkz!!

Currently there are no plans to launch SIP Provider support for NBX. That is in our VCX Telephony offerings.

    Thank You.
