nc6000 Bluetooth Personal Area Network PAN

    I have a HP Compaq nc6000 notebook, and I installed the HP bluetooth software (versio 3.0.1.905).

    I have a desktop with a bluetooth dongle (that came with microsoft bluetooth mouse). On this desktop, I am able to join a PAN, send and receive files. But none of this works with my HP laptops.

    Somehow, I am able to set up my desktop as a Personal Ad-hoc user... but seemingly there's nothing I can do with the connection.

    I only want to send files wireless with BT, need none of the other services. What have I missed out?
