  • 1.  NO IP ROUTE CONFIGURED

    Posted Apr 25, 2023 05:29 PM

    Hey there
I have a route configured on a stand alone Aruba 6300M
    0.0.0.0/0 172.27.1.2
But when I do a show ip route I get

    No ipv4 routes configured

I have other switches with the same config and they are working. Any thoughts?

is the interface for 172.27.1.0, up  in the default VRF?
if the default gateways is not reachable through an interface then it will not show in the routing table.

Tech said it was a known bug on the firmware.
Upgraded and problem was resolved. Frustrating

Still having the same behavior once I connected to the network. Anyideas?
I am using a lag back to our Aruba 8325s

    6300M side
    lag 38
     ports 1/1/49
    ports 1/1/50

    8325 side (Arubacore 1 and Arubacore2)
    lag 38
    ports 1/1/38

     6300M side
    interface lag 38
        no shutdown
        no routing
        vlan trunk native 2701
        vlan trunk allowed all
        lacp mode active
        spanning-tree root-guard
        exit

    8325 cores sides
ARUBACOREKC1# show ru int lag 38
    interface lag 38
        no shutdown
        description TO SSWC210
        no routing
        vlan trunk native 2701
        vlan trunk allowed all
        lacp mode active
        spanning-tree root-guard
        exit

I am able to see both Aruba8325 cores

    LOCAL-PORT  CHASSIS-ID         PORT-ID                      PORT-DESC                    TTL      SYS-NAME
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    1/1/49      b8:d4:e7:41:c3:00  1/1/38                       TO SSWC2210                  120      ARUBACOREKC1
    1/1/50      b8:d4:e7:41:13:00  1/1/38                       TO SSWC2210                  120      ARUBACOREKC2

    default route is 172.27.1.2

yet when I do a show ip route it says

    SSWC2210# show ip route

    No ipv4 routes configured

Do you have two 8325 in a VSX setup?  (Arubacore 1 and Arubacore2)

Perhaps you should have interface lag 38 multi-chassis?

running show lacp interfaces to verify the lags are up is also something you may try.
