  • 1.  Office Connect OC20 apl error

    Hi, is there any other way to configure OC20 other than the mobile applications?

    I have an issue with the configuration of the new AP, the wizard always finishes with the error.

    When I try to go to the internet I get a 302 error captive portal is disabled.

    Is there any other way except OfficeConnect application?

    Hi, not sure if your issue is exactly the one I've in mind...but have a look here (Read the Attention note about new HPE OfficeConnect OC20 Access Point Firmware 1.2.1).

    Last night I find the same article, after firmware update everything works fine.

    Thanks for your helpful post about the OC20 firmware. I'm facing the same issue - I have several OC20 units but can't access the firmware anymore.

    I'd be really grateful if you could help me out or point me to where I can find it. I'd love to keep using these devices.

    Hi Adel, have a look here (URLs of years ago are not valid anymore, for various reasons), I believe you need to sign-on into that portal.

    Example:

    Latest HPE OfficeConnect OC20 Release Notes - published on March 2018 - available on ASP (now migrated into the new HPE Networking Support Portal) - attached here - points me to the OC20 1.2.0 firmware file OfficeConnectPortal_OC20_1.2.0_64023 (released 16-03-2017) then nothing new was published (from what I'm able to see, guys please correct me if I'm wrong).

    HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal App was 1.4.1.

    I'm not sure that currently HPE OfficeConnect OC20 could be supported through the Aruba InstantON community: it was indeed an HPE product now EoL. In any case asking questions on that community shouldn't be an issue at all and there could be educated guests helping you.

    Edit 1: I was not able to find any personal reference about that 1.2.1 I reported about five years ago.

    Edit 2: the OC20 is EoLS, see below table (EoS and suggested replacement product):
