  • 1.  OoB Management Port in 7010 Controller

    Hi,

     

    the 7010 and some other controllers have a OoB Management Port on the front. How can they be configured? It seems that the old command (interface mgmt) has been deprecated with 6.5 and there is no documentation for this in 6.5

     

    Is this port still usable and is this a real OoB (different routing instance)?

    The userguide says it's still there.

    CLI guide says it's depreciated.

    I'm interested to know if you can configure it and if not why it was depreciated.

    It's still possible to configure it for IP. Unfortunately settings like LLDP are not possible.
