Hi, could it be the "quality" of the cable and/or connectors that is making the speed going down or the connection/power unstable?
I hope this helps.

Thanks Ariya you for your swift response,
Yes, I am aware of what the manual state, but it is insufficient,
And it various according to model<
As to the amber (orange) blink, three possible scenarios are explained:
For the 635, (omitted the: Device ready)
1. Restricted power mode limited PoE power available
2. IPM restrictions applied *)
3. Uplink negotiated in sub-optimal speed
When investigating either of those, no underling error is to be found in general.
Which mean a more thoroughly investigation for each and one off the three scenarios, must be done.
Therefore one should be able to Read out exactly which of the three is in action,
For the 315 it should be somewhat easier, since it only state:
1. Sub-optimal uplink Ethernet speed (1G)
*) According to other forum post:
(AP features running on lower poe power | Wireless Access (arubanetworks.com) [onno],
the IPM is not I place before it is actual is a need for it. ie. A Power restriction applies
So, in other words:
· for what foreseeable reason should a new AP, well powered from a suitable Aruba Switch, with substantial power reserves, and "short" cabled 1 Gbs, interface port,
· make a AP blink amber ??
Thanks, please advice

If my post was useful accept solution and/or give kudos.
Any opinions expressed here are solely my own and not necessarily that of HPE or Aruba.

Where is it to correct read out the true status, which causes the led to blink orange.
In gui some time the "Flag", in Managed Network > Access point is "raised", but mostly not ?
Anyone, please
