we are a large organisation and we want to enable posture assessment like AV check , Registry checks etc on all our wired/wireless endpoints . As of now we are using native dot1x agent and no client software is installed on any end point ,

 

Is Aruba Onguard mandatory for Posture assessment (if we wont go for NAP agent) ,  Cant we do posture with Native client ?

Hi, based on the number of questions recently, I’d recommend you work with your Aruba ClearPass partner on a full design.

To directly answer your question, OnGuard is used for traditional posture assessment.

Ok .thanks . I know I am putting lot of queries and will work with partner . But does posture work for native supplicant

Network supplicants do not provide posture data.
