The config for COR1A includes the "system interface-group 1 speed 10g" command which is spat out as not being valid. I am assuming its because the simulator is based on a device other than the 8325-A switch mentioned in the document.

Is this truly the issue or am I just doing something wrong? If it is invalid for the simulated device is there a substitute command?

    Thanks

    Hi,

As you correctly point out, the "interface-group speed" command only applies to certain specific devices like the CX 8325 due to the way its ASIC operates. The simulator does not, obviously, have such an ASIC, so the command is irrelevant and not implemented.

As a side note, the simulator is generic, in other words, it does not simulate any switch in particular, it does a bit of all. The defaults are similar to the 8xxx switches in the sense that all ports are routed, and STP is disabled.

    I hope this helps.
