Procurc 2910al (J9146A) firmware miss

    Hi,

        I boot my 2910al, then console will stay in =>

     It seems FW miss.

    I try to down W_14_38.swi via xmodel 

    =>do

    You have invoked the console download utility.
    Do you wish to continue? (Y/N)>Download was successful.

    Download file NOT an OS image, processing as ROM image...
    verifying crc, @ 05000008, len 21845
    crc = 68b3d67e
    ERROR: File @05000008 has bad CRC (ffffaaaa != 68b3d67e, len = 21845).
    ERROR: Download was unsuccessful. Fail boot burn.

    Anyone can help to repair it. Thanks

    Hi There,

    Aruba/Procurve switches has two flash memory locations for storing switch software.
    1) 

    1. Delete the boot.ini file: 
      =>rm cfa0/boot.ini 
      Deleting the boot.ini file will result in a new boot.ini being created when during the next step.

    Thank can you try booting either with the primary or secondary flash . Use below command

    =>jp1 to boot of primary flash 

    =>jp2 to boot of secondary flash
