  • 1.  Promote Subscriber to Publisher

    Currently, our cluster consists of three nodes: Node A is the publisher, Node B is the subscriber, and a Virtual IP is configured between Node A and Node B. If I promote Node C to be a publisher, what prerequisites should I prepare?

    • Backup your database configuration
    • Disable cluster wide parameters under standby publisher > Enable Publisher Failover > FALSE
    • Keep in mind that if there are Licenses there on that node, they will be de-activated. Please contact support to re-activate the licenses
    • Versions of Clearpass Nodes must be the Same (version and Subversion)
