Hello,
I know copp is about tuning control plane to meet the usage needs (right?)
When I do "sh copp-policy stat" and get lines including next one
Class: unknown-multicast
packets passed : 4193791 packets dropped : 2872
Does that mean that because unknown-multicast class setting has way too low rate value and control plane Have to drop packets or is there also packets wich are dropped because of other reasons (like acl etc...)?
If so, is there a way other than "sh copp-policy stat" to monitor what values there should be in class declaration so that impact to cpu is not too high?
Any do
