Group has SSID configured, but AP shows Radio down, in audit trail configuration is synchronized but all Radio 2.4,5 & 6, are  shown

    Hi,

Did you select your country in the system tab? Also enable IPM if your power budget is limited on the switch.

I suggest to upgrade to the latest maintenance release of 8.9.x which is 8.9.0.3

have you allowed both HTTPS and HTTP access for Aruba Central to get to your APs?

I can't find the http & https access configuration, however under the system AP has webUI enabled.

Thanks Ariyap, after upgrading the AP Firmware to 8.9.0.3 Radio for 2.4 & 5 got enabled. I am little confuse why Aruba will ship with the version which has significant problem.
Anyway Thanks very much for the help.

Depending on where you live, the AP may or may not be approved by your local authorities. What probably happened is that by upgrading the AP from 8.9.0.2 to 8.9.0.3, you also upgraded the so-called DRT, which records which APs on what channels and power are allowed in every country.

In another country, the AP probably would have worked, and your reseller might have informed you about that. Also the leaflet that comes with the AP has a recommendation: "An upgrade to the AP firmware and/or downloadable regulatory table (DRT) file to the latest available version is recommended."; but I have to admit that I had to look such a leaflet up as I most times try to make things work and read the manual if nothing else happens ;-)

From the people that make these APs, I understood that they can't wait for the AP to be certified in all countries before they start manufacture and put initial firmware on the AP in the factory. Unfortunately this wasn't fully clear in your case.
