  • 1.  RADIUS not work on HP 1920S JL381A

    Hello.
    We have an HP 1920S JL381A.
    We have a problem with setup RADIUS Accounting.
    I set everything up, as far as possible, according to the instructions.
    I create a RADIUS server, I create a RADIUS accounting server. I turn on "802.1x Accounting Mode".
    On the "Port Access Control Configuration" tab, after having switched all Control Mode ports to "Force Authorized" mode, I enable Admin Mode and Monitor mode. Then I enable Control Mode "MAC Based" on the selected port.
    After that, the device on the selected port disappears from the network.
    Not a single packet from the switch comes to the RADIUS server.

    Switch firmware updated to PD.02.17, Linux 3.6.5, U-Boot 2012.10-00118
    Tried many combinations of "Port Access Control Configuration" and port modes. Not a single packet came to the RADIUS server.
    On 1930 JL682A all works fine.

    Can you share the logbuffer from:

     

    Diagnostics-->Log
    Select Display-->All

     

    Share the output.

    I can't figure out why not any packet comes to the RADIUS server. For any combination of switches in the "Port Access Control Configuration".

    I have gone through the logs however there are not much information for the issue.

    This issue requires remote intervention from support.

    Before creating a topic here, I created a support ticket at the specified link. Unfortunately my question was closed with the wording "Denied support as there is no contract.", Since the 90 day support period after the purchase has already ended.
