    Hi,

     

    I have a problem with the 3G/4G modem in aruba RAP-3WN.

    The connection works well, configuration is done well too. Everything is ok.

    BUT, after a long time of not using the internet, my modem disconnects. Then to reconnect the internet, I have to power off the RAP and the power on for him to reboot.

     

    I understand that this is a natural modem behaviour which usually disconnects when he "sees" that there is no transmission over a default period of time.

     

    The problem is to configure RAP the way, he'll automatically force modem to reconnect or not do disconnect. I couldn't find the apropriate options in user guide and also on RAP UI. Maybe it's a matter of having a wrong Userguide or not understanding some things.

     

    So please, if someone who ate his teeth on this or someone who knows how, to put some light into it for me.

    are you using the RAP in Instant mode?

     

    also could you clarify about: The problem is to configure RAP the way, he'll automatically force modem to reconnect or not do disconnect.

     

    i don't quite understand the issue.
