    Hello,

we have implemeted a RAPNG-solution with Aruba 7010 controller running an AOS 6.5.4.24 and a couple IAP-cluster running on 8.10.0.13. This is working fine.

Now we have a request to add an IAP-cluster of AP503 that is running on AOS 8.11.02. The L2TPover IPSec-Tunnel is not comming up.

Is there any chance to get this up and running without upgrading the controller?

    Kind Regards

    Uwe

    Probably not.

Why wouldn't you upgrade the controller to something that is actually supported?  AOS 6.5 is EOL.

The AP-503 needs AOS 8.11.1.0 at least, minimum running version at this point should be the latest 8.12.x.x release.

    Hi Carson,

Since we have a number of IAP clusters connected to the controller running on 6.5.4.x and 8.10.x ,we fear negative effects on the existing tunnels if we upgrade the controller to Release 8.x.

    Best Regards
