    Hi,

we have an office with IAP-315 and a large number of channel changes on 5Ghz (1 change every 30min) due to interferences or radar detection. After disable VHT, all is OK.

In general i'm trying to optimize the wifi configuration of my offices and I'm wondering about the use of the 80mhz band and VHT. I've read a lot of posts on the subject, some of which may be dated, and I'd like to know what the state of the art is today on this subject? Should they be disabled?

FYI we have offices with IAP-315 and IAP-515, managed by Airwave in version 8.3.0.x.

Thank you in advance for your help and clarification on these issues.

    Disable VHT?  Not a recommendation.

Run at 80 MHz channels on 5 GHz in an office environment?  Only if you have no neighbors and can utilize DFS.  40 MHz is the usual recommended maximum for an office, 20 MHz for more challenging environments.

Run 80 MHz when you have 6 GHz available.
