  • 1.  Reset guest wireless password and lost the Captive Portal

    We have a Dell Networking W-650 controller running ArubaOS 6.4.0.1  We reset the password for guest wireless access and then lost the Captive Portal.  Now, you can connect to the guest network, but the connection remains at connected/no internet access because we can no longer authenticate to the guest wireless network due to the Captive Portal no longer showing up. 

     

    We have tried rebooting, changing the password back, but still cannot get the Captive Portal page to appear.

    Does DNS resolution work for that client?  DNS resolution is necessary for the portal to come up.

    DNS does not seem to work.  It shows as having the correct DNS server, but nslookups fail to resolve.
