SD-WAN

Hi.  I attended an Aruba seminar today where the SE's presented SaaS connect and confirmed that it's an inherent feature of the Edge Connect licensing and configurable in orchestrator.  Is there any more detail on this subject as the only references to SaaS Express I can find relate to the Aruba Central  / SD Branch product sets ?   Thanks.  Sean

Are you looking at the SaaS Optimization feature that determines the best path through the fabric to access SaaS offerings or the ability to integrate with third party security SaaS providers?

Hi Duane.  The former.  See marketing slide from an Aruba webinar earlier this week.  Seems there are 2 approaches (SaaS Optimisation which is Silver Peak tech and SaaS express which is part of the Aruba Central portfolio but is now being positioned on Edge Connect).

Here is a screenshot of what it looks like in Orchestrator.

Simple explanation is all devices maintain the RTT to SaaS resources.  Hubs or "drains" advertise those stats in the form of routes to the fabric and the local appliance can choose to send it out locally or to the best performing "drain"
