On the "HP Storage Works SAN switch 2/32" I run the porterrshow but need to find descriptions for the different categories, namely:
crc err, enc in, enc out, bad eof, disc c3, link fail, loss sync, loss sig. I've been looking through some documentation, can anyone direct me to something that explains all this? thanks,...

Havnt worked with these switches in a while but as I recall they use to have a web interface and you can find config information and help text on those pages.
