snmp: timeout while reading LLDP-mib

    Hi,

    I got a strange behaviour with getting snmp data. When I do a snmpwalk on OID 1.0.8802.1.1.2.1.4.2.1.5, which is "lldpRemManAddrOID" I get a "Timeout: no response from xx.xx.xx.xx".

     

    When I log on to the same switch and do a walkmib 1.0.8802.1.1.2.1.4.2.1.5 I get a response:

    SWT-H3-1(config)# walkMIB 1.0.8802.1.1.2.1.4.2.1.5
    lldpRemManAddrOID.0.1.1.1.4.192.168.0.1 = zeroDotZero
    lldpRemManAddrOID.0.2.1.1.4.192.168.99.61 = zeroDotZero
    lldpRemManAddrOID.0.32.1.1.4.192.168.99.60 = zeroDotZero
    lldpRemManAddrOID.0.37.1.1.4.172.23.74.91 = 43.6.1.4.1.129.192.110
    lldpRemManAddrOID.0.40.1.1.4.172.23.74.90 = 43.6.1.4.1.129.192.110
    SWT-H3-1(config)#

     

    This happens on a Procurve 2626. On an identical 2626, same Softwareversion I get not timeout. The same happens on two identical 5304xl. One works, the other not...

     

    Has anybody an idea?
