There's probably an AP debug that shows what is going on but I don't know what that is right now.

When you change a VAP configuration, that change may require a radio reset on the AP for the changes to apply which will impact all users on the AP.

hello Herman
The actual secanrio version is 8.10.0.14 , but i have Simulated the same in one of my lab with 8.12 but both are same.
What do you mean by 'users connected to the other bridge SSID are also affected for a few seconds'? Is that lost connectivity for a few seconds then service is recovered?
- Yes, their connection is lost for few seconds (5-6) nothing is happen to their association with AP. but the traffic is interrupted and comes back to normal after few seconds. if we are keep pinging to internal /externam destination we could see arround 4-6 time outs and then recovered**
Im my scenario its the one of ISP network. Colntrollers are resides in DCs. and managed 2 main Sites and Bridge is required in order to forward with local gateways.
So it may be that not so many people are adding addition bridged SSIDs and this may be part of the AP reshuffling their BSSID, but I've not heard from this before.
one question, as i told, nothing happened to the Tunnel SSIDs is that because Controller handles the User traffic and keep some buffer for the sessions and when it comes to the bridge local switch handles the traffic and cannot do such things like controller. so the traffic is interrupted ???, what do you think on that************

What version?

Using bridged SSIDs in an AOS8 controller deployment is deprectated, it's designed to work in tunnel mode. So it may be that not so many people are adding addition bridged SSIDs and this may be part of the AP reshuffling their BSSID, but I've not heard from this before. When you explain more what happens, people may recognize if that is normal. If the issue is just for a few seconds and only diring the change, people may not have detected this behavior.

Hi there,
i have two 7220 Controllers with master-standby.
and i have VAP called corp (bridge), VAP called secure(bridge), and another VAP called Guest (tunnel).
all those VAPs are attched to the same AP group. and SSID are same as VAP name (for your information), and also all of these L2 at the controller level and three different VLANs for each other.
issue is while i do any deploy a chnage to Secure VAP, users connected to the another Brige SSID also affected for few seconds, connected users for the secure are affected and thast not an issue. although another bridge SSID users are affected , none of tunnel SSID users are affected.
is this default of Bridge Forwaring Mode??????
