I mean that whatever makes errors and dropped bytes, it does not do that all the time because error counter is still zero while I have used system alot today. My main problem is that I don't know why there was so many dropped Bytes but zero dropped packets!?!?
BTW fw version is 16.10.0012.
Transceivers shows OK status, no problem there..

Hi Jori, I've not totally understood your points...but...if I read you correctly when you wrote "Errors does not build up constantly because I tried to monitor it yesterday for hour or so and errors we zero and now after two hours error count is still zero?!?" it means to me that...if you - for two hours (on the very same CLI sessions) - didn't see any packets drop after having cleared the statistics and counters...there are no real issues to worry about. Eventually check for a longer period of time.
How is the diagnostic on the SFP+ Transceivers? other than the usual show statistics ethernet 26 or show interfaces config ethernet 26 try as example:
show interfaces transceiver 26 detail

Did clear already yesterday and this morning there was about same abount of drops there. Errors does not build up constantly because I tried to monitor it yesterday for hour or so and errors we zero and now after two hours error count is still zero?!?

Hello Jori, that's strange.
Could you clear ethernet statistics and counters for your port 26 (the one equipped with the J9150A SFP+ Transceiver)? the command is clear statistics ethernet 26 and it will clear statistics and counters of port 26 for and during the current logged session...if I'm not mistaken...instead to clear statistics and counters (without rebooting) and for cleared statistics and counters to survive a session logoff/logon action you could use the clear statistics global.
Either way check port 26 counters after statistics for port 26 were cleared.
What ArubaOS-Switch is your Aruba 2540 currently running on?

Hi all,
I have two switches connected together with J9150A 10G modules. Fiber between switches is about 150m long OM3 and it has been validated four times with Fluke meter..
Any idea why there is so many RX drop bytes in both switches but zero dropped packets??
Do I have device in network which either sends broken packets or it's data is not packed into ethernet frames??
I
