I wouldn't assume that a particular feature works in the simulator just because there is a lab for it. Every time I've tried the Spanning Tree labs they've failed with spectacular broadcast storms even though it's a supported function and the labs say it works.
Tommyd, have you tried it and been unsuccessful or were you just wondering if it was supported before trying it?

CX simulator supports also EVPN, and since 10.13 does support L3VNI (symmetric IRB)

Are there plans or it is even possible for the simulator to have VSX and/or EVPN functioning? It would allow me to model my core infratructure and lab all planed changes before I break something important
