Hi Koen,
You AMP version 8.2.6.1 is end of support since December 2019, consider to upgrade to the latest version.
My general recommendation is use an external Linux machine with OpenSSL to create the CSR, and after signing to create a PKCS12 or PFX certificate that will be imported in Airwave. It could be your certificate is not ok, or maybe you run into an old bug in your current software version.
On my blog
https://blog.marcelkoedijk.nl you can find some examples for creating a certificate using OpenSSL.
For urgent matters contact your local Aruba Partner or call Aruba TAC support to assist you.

Subject: Trouble adding a Server Cert
I'm running AirWave Management Platform 8.2.6.1 and have an issue uploading a Server certificate as the current one is about to expire.
When I try to add the certificate under Device Setup > Certificates, no matter what Format I use with Type [Server Cert] following error is returned: Invalid Certificate file for '<type>' format.
Only when using Type [Public Cert] is it uploaded. But then it is not available for the Server Cert field under Aruba Instant section of the Basic configuration of a Group.
I have the cert, the intermediate CA cert and the root CA cert (all pubic).
What am I doing wrong?
Why do I get that error?
How do I create or get a proper Server Cert?
Thanks in advance.
