Controllerless Networks

I have a customer asking if there are any options using Aruba Instant and the built in VC to turn off his Wi-Fi at night.  If it is not an option would Aruba Central give me that option?

Hi Colin,

Would this turn off the wireless signal coming from the AP's?  This customer has 6 IAP 205's throughout his home and does not want the signal\wireless on at night.  So basicially turning off the AP's with out turning them off.  If that makes sense.

It would just not allow connections.  It does not shut off the radio.  You would probably look to a switching platform that has time-based POE for that...
