  • 1.  Utilizing the same WLANs across multiple VCs

We have a large number of Central managed Instant access points deployed over multiple sites and we need to have unique WLANs as well as common WLANs at each site.  Is there an easy way to create a single WLAN that can be assigned to multiple VCs?

Yes, put all the VCs in the same group and configure the WLAN that you want to be shared across all VCs at the group level. I'd recommend you configure all the other global parameters there as well.

Once you've done that, go to the device-specific level and configure the WLAN that has to be different per VC.

Switching between group and device config can be done by clicking on the filter on top (the example shows sd-wan gateways, but the same rule applies to everything):

    Dear Samuel,

Thanks for that information.  We have a number of "global" WLANs and each site has one or two "local" WLANs so I will configure those at VC level.
