    Hi,

we recently purchased 5 UX-G6C sensors. I connected them all with a network cable to the new dashboard

    and they all work properly.
I understood that this model supports cellular connection but I don't see any settings related to the cellular on the dashboard. to make sure that the cellular is working, I disconnected the network cable and left the sensors with only  power supply and they stopped communicating with the dashboard.

Does anyone know how to check cellular

    Thanks

Here is a link to troubleshooting guide https://help.capenetworks.com/en/articles/7967857-troubleshooting-guide

There is nothing for cellular that user can configure.

    From documentation:

    Cellular Mobile Backhaul

The sensor's cellular mobile backhaul provides it with connectivity in the event that Ethernet is not available. The availability and quality of the cellular connection relies on the location and positioning of the sensor:

The sensor has to be located in an area with cellular coverage:

The sensor can be moved to an area with known cellular coverage, for example closer to a window or another building, and once the sensor has been on-boarded, it can be moved back to its permanent installation.

Due to the cellular network not being guaranteed to provide good coverage in all areas, we recommend using Ethernet connection for initial setup where possible. The same process as above can be followed if need be, where the sensor is on-boarded somewhere specific, like a lab, and then moved to its permanent installation.
