    Posted Jan 12, 2013 10:40 AM

    Hello,

I bought a V1910 48G Switch in November and it ran smoothly until today.

I upgraded to CMW520-R1513 Patch 6 since there were two updates since my installed version, patch 1.

Now I am no more able to change port speed and duplex settings for single ports.

After selecting a port and changing the two settings (speed 100 and full duplex), i press "apply".

The switch reboots without any change to to anything else, this takes about one minute,  and afterwards the changes aren't visible.

Al also didn't find any way to change the speed via CLI.

    Anyone else had these problems?

    Thanks in advance!

I had another problem with this firmware release on my JE009A - configuration was lost after reboot and no backup conf.

Fortunately, there was not a lot configured there.

And, I checked then - yes, the same bug with port's speed and duplex - switch just reboots without changes applied.

You could open a case at HP to inform them about it.

New firmware that fixes this bug is available from HP.

Which firmware release contains this fix?  The release notes for the latest firmware (V1910-CMW520-R1513P07) do not mention any fix for this problem.

    thanks.

Not always vendors list *ALL* of the bugs.
