We are considering to use VMC at all small sites which all APs were remote mode. But when we do the test, we find that there is something wrong when the VMC is installed on the KVM which hypervisor is Ubuntu. The download speed is very slow, it's about 3Mbps, but the upload speed is normal. I don't know what cause this.

I know the guide suggests we use CentOS as the hypervisor, but our virtualization platform is based on Ubuntu, we couldn't install CentOS  for VMC exclusively.

This might be unrelated to your question, but how small are those small sites?  Could you just put Aruba Instant at those sites instead of bringing up a whole VMC to support a few access points?

Thanks for your reply. Using Instant AP is not a good choice for us, we need to keep the wireless network unify, which means all APs are campus mode. These small sites usually have 4-16 APs and we have about 100+ small sites around the world,  honestly I don't like to use Airwave to manage so many IAP.
