We have a situation where we have to mount the AP to the wall with an 90 Degree Bracket.

The Question raised was: isn't it bestter to mount the AP at 45 degrees to use more of the Antenna coverage?

The APs have an internal down tilt omnidirectional array and are made to be mounted on the ceiling. The 90-degree mounts allow you to maintain that orientation if the ceiling is not available for mounting. Most of the coverage extends out and away horizontally. Of course any adjustments will change the propagation, but i wouldn't expect to much of a change.

Yes i wouldn't expect much change too, but i could not convince my Boss, even after showing the antenna characteristics Datasheet.

Maybe someone has made a simulation or test here ..

You can tell your boss that the vendor specifically recommends that indoor APs intended for ceiling installation should always be installed on the ceiling, with the radome facing the floor of the desired coverage area.  If wall mounting is a requirement, either source a horizontal mount that orients the AP correctly or utilize APs with external antennas so that the coverage can be directed correctly.
