how do i enable the web-management of the 5945 series switch?

version 7.1.070, Release 6508

Hi Alex!

The 5945 is considered a datacenter switch.  Most DC switches do not have a web management interface.  If the product does, the Web Gui would most likely be incomplete.

To enable it, go into the system CLI and type ip http enable and/or ip https enable.  Then give it a shot.

can you or anyone tell me if this particular 5945 switch have an web interface? Our customer whould appreciate it.

On the CLI iam getting an error that the switch is unable to recognize this command:

I did some research and found a few manuals, but none of them mention an webinterface.

curious: in the user access setting i can set the service-type to http and https.

I cant imagine that this new switch dont have this interface. May it be useless or not, the customers love them.

I have a 5945 in my lab running R6555 and there is no IP HTTP commands at all.  So the support is not in the 5945 at this time.  Sorry to disappoint.
