  • 1.  Where are the installation packages for HPE IMC

    Hi,

    This might be a stupid question, but where can I find the specific installation packages of HPE IMC for an older version (or any version for that matter)?

    I am trying to migrate old version over to a new VM, but I only have an old installation package.

    I can find packages on HPE Networking Support Portal , but they appear to only be upgrade packages.

    Which old version are you trying to find? I'll see if I can help you find it. You haven't seen that version on the HPE Networking Support portal then, have you?

    Thank you for the reply! I am trying to find installation files for 7.3 PLAT E0708P02.

    I can find this one on the HPE Networking | Enterprise Support Portal, but this appears to only be upgrade package and does not work as a fresh install.

    What version of Windows are you trying to deploy it on: Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, or Windows Server 2022? When you deploy the installation package you download, it won't let you deploy it, will it?
    I'm going to ask internally what could be happening

    Hi! isn't available the HPE IMC 7.3 PLAT E0708 (Linux|Microsoft) installation file on the HPE portal? the HPE IMC 7.3 PLAT E0708P02 is just a Patch (P02, exactly) of E0708 and its installation file is used to update (patch) the E0708 main installation, not to perform a fresh new install.

    I found the standard installation file now for E0708 now, and it does appear I can install it, so it works, thanks :)
