  • 1.  Where is the NAE developer documentation?

    Hi all,

    I wanted to develop a custom NAE script but I just can not find any documentation for the NAE class. On ASE and Github I can only find example NAE scripts. 

    What library do I need to install in my venv to get the NAE class? 

    For example:
    What exactly is the Monitor in the NAE class
    What is the list of all Actions (like "ActionSyslog", "ActionCLI", etc.)

    There is no really doc about NAE Class...
    You can only use example

    Do you know if I can somewhere see the full source code of the NAE class? Maybe somewhere in the switch filesystem?

    Hello bkohnke,
    I'll contact the engineering team to see what is reachable from within the switch and what we can publish.  There is some documentation on the individual functions in the NAE Functionality guide here: https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/AOS-CX/10.09/PDF/nae.pdf
