    Might be a silly questions, but

     

    1). When backing up and restoring a clearpass server, why doesn't the restore also restore the RADIUS certificate? - is this just a case of security and not having cert in a backup file?

     

    2). When restoring from a backup, you get a message saying that the restore is setting the admin password .... but it doesn't. Was building a new VM with a 1TB disk and restored backup from previous VM but admin password is always the default. If you;'re not gonig to reset the pasword, don't tell me you are

    Since any admin can export a backup of the server, it would not be safe to
    include the key pair in the backup.
