Create a WPA3-SAE WLAN with transition mode disabled, see if that works. Best option for troubleshooting is going to be opening a case with TAC so that you can gather the AP and over-the-air information at the same time.

Then curious why Samsung would only work if WPA2-PSK-AES encryption is set on SSID Profile.
If its set to WPA3-SAE-AES with transition mode enabled, it would not connect.
Is there a debug to capture the client handshake to see the capabilities?

There are a bunch of wireless devices out there that don't operate very well when transition mode is enabled.
If you have a need to support WPA2 and WPA3 personal devices on the same network, then transition mode is required, but support for such will be dependent on the client devices. The client makes the decision on which scheme to use at the time of association, the WLAN infrastructure just provides the options.

I created a WLAN with wpa2 and the TVs connect.
Should the transition mode be enabled or disabled?
If enabled, it should auto-switch between wpa3 and wpa2 depending on client capabilities isnt it?
if disabled, would it be stuck in whatever encryption the config is set?
Thanks

Set the WLAN to WPA2-Personal, see if the issue persists. If running WPA3-Personal with transition mode enabled (default behavior for IAP and AOS 10), disable transition mode and see if the issue persists.

A couple of TVs I looked at (UN55DU8000) does support WPA3 and 5GHz. However, I had to update FW and manually type the SSID/PWD for it to work.
The complaint started after migrating the wireless from another vendor (only WPA2) to Aruba (WPA3).
Thanks.

Are those devices stated as supporting WPA3-Personal (WPA3-SAE)?

Hello folks,
Curious if anyone have wifi connectivity issues with the newer Samsung smart TVs?
We are on 8.12.0.0, phones and PCs work fine.
But a handful of Samsung TVs just would not connect using 2.4GHz/5GHz with wpa3-psk auth.
Thanks,
Alex
