    Hi,

Many clients complains about wifi which is keep disconnecting randomly without no reason.

i run 5 aruba ap 515, and created 2 ssid (one is for guest with clearpass authentication) an other with password.

So, the ssid with password is working perfectly but the second one working with Clearpass keeps loosing wifi connection

Im i missing something with my ssid configuration with clearpass ?

    Thanks in advance

do you mean when the clients connect to the guest SSID they get disconnected? do they go through  authentication  and then they get disconnected or before?

    Hi Ariyap,

The clients connect perfectly whithin approxamituvly 10min (sometimes more or less), and they get disconnected, and after few momments, they get reconnected.

    It's really a weird situation

    Ali,

Is it possible you don't have a working "MAC Caching" service in ClearPass and user devices get disconnected each time they attempt to roam between access points or get band steered between radios?

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Brad,

The MAC Caching is working fine. (all users get connected without captive portal authentication once they authentified already); Give an exemple : User connect today with his credentials i've created already, everything working fine, let's say in the following day, the same user connect perfectly without typing anything.

But my issue is when the user is connected, after 10min (appromaxivly), he is disconnected from wifi, and get reconnected after few moments. which is really annoying

I didn't see any info on which firmware release you are on but in AOS 8 there is 8.10.0.14 just released and has AP515 specific fixes.

    Ascott,

The issue not fixed in this update. I'm alredy in 8.10.0.13, and in the latest (8.10.0.14) in the resolved issue : nothing mentionned

I see what you are say.  The fix was in .07 release.  Gotcha.

And wanted to point out a few things in the release notes as resolved issues related to 515s:

What i'm reading that the fix was in the 8.10.0.13 (not in the 8.10.0.7 which is the start version issue if i understand well). The thing is i already update to the 8.10.0.13 and still have the issue and in the last update 8.10.0.14, they did not mention this issue as they think it's resolved in the 8.10.0.13 release which is still on
