    Will stacking module J9577A for 3800 work in 3810m?

    It looks exactly same and even stacking cable is used same J9578A

    Hi, supported Stacking Cables have the same SKUs but each Switch series supports different Stacking Modules SKUs (not only SKUs are differents but also Stacking Modules' Hardware isn't "exactly the same" even if they look externally very similar [*]...look at the board design).

     

    If I were you I'll not risk...I remember something similar was discussed on a thread of the HPE Community during 2016.

     

    [*] Note how hardware designs are slightly differents if you compare JL084A against J9577A...
