Controllerless Networks

Hello,

i have an Windows 10 Laptop and have problems to connect to our Guest-Login in our Company.

SSID: Guest-WiFi

Authenthication: Personal , WPA 2.

Simple authentication. nevertheless it does not work.

Message: no connection with this network possible.

I`m not the only User, where is not function. But only with Windows 10 devices.

Does anybody have an idea ?

we have a clearpass server too, with the firmware:ClearPass Policy Manager 6.5.0.71095

Is the newest Firmware for the IAP (ArubaInstant_Centaurus_6.4.4.4-4.2.3.2_54910) compatible with the Clearpass Firmware ?

is it simple to upgrade this IAP ?

After this Update on the Master IAP-Controller, How spreads it to the other IAP in the same Network ?

It will work with ClearPass if you upgrade it.  If your cluster has the same platform APs, it is simple as uploading the firmware to the VC master.

Just to be clear, you have a preshared key network that is not working with Windows 10, right?

yes thats right !!!!

The IAP are all in the same cluster. So i must only upgrade the VC Master and the master distributes the Firmware. right ?

If all of your IAPs are all IAP-215s, yes.  Please try upgrading the firmware first.
