    I would like to know what other things that I need to purchase beside AP is I want to enable WIPS?

    If you have APs that run in Instant Mode (virtual controller in the AP or standalone), there is no license needed to enable WIPS.

    APs that run as part of a hardware or VM controller infrastructure will consume a RF-Protect license per AP.

    For analysis or collection of the events, Airwave or Aruba Central are recommended but not required.
