Hello all. Well, first off, im new to the forum. But my problem is:
I'm running off of a HP Pavilion dv6000, which belongs to my girlfriend and i'm servicing it for her and fixing her computer problems. I've done technician work before, but this is got me baffled. Now, the thing is, all the research I've done, everyone is experiencing dropped signal, or something a long those lines. I can't find help for what happens if you have weak signal. I'm currently sitting next to the router and only have 3 bars. While my laptop (which is an HP) is holding all5 bars upstairs. She complains she loses connection in her house because her laptop if to far from the router, when that honestly shouldn't be the case at all. If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated!
