I have a WL110 PC-Card and when I try to connect via WEP encryption to an access point, some funtions do not work. For example I can't send emails but recieve emails if WEP (either with 64bit or 128bit keys)is activated. Also filetransfers to other computers do not work.
If WEP is disabled anything works fine. There are no error-messages or something else. The connection information doesn't show any error either. Pleas can you give me a hint how to solve that problem....

    Regards,

    Alex

When you disable WEP...this has been done on both ends (the access point and WL110 PC-Card)?

    Dear Robert,

sure both the WLan card and the access point has been set to WEP or WEP disabled at the same time. That is what dissapoints me. I still have no solution for this problem and I'm not going to open up a hotspot for wardrivers :)

    Regards,

    Alex

Sounds like something in your pop3 settings or protocol is not getting treated correctly when encrypted. All I can say is check the following support location to make sure you are using the latest drivers and/or firmware (if any is available). A firmware upgrade or a Windows update is probably your best bet.
