I was wondering if anyone out there has had any success in getting the WL110 adapter and WL410 WAP to work in conjunction with a Windows XP Pro client, Windows 2K Internet Authentication Service and 802.1X athentication.

I have been following all the instructions provided on MS's website and have no luck in getting these to work together.

After configuring certicates and the IAS server to talk to the WL410 I try to obtain a connection from the XP client and receive the message "Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network DOMAIN" where DOMAIN is our AD Domain.

First of all, I need some clarification about WEP and 802.1X security. I thought that the two were totally seperate from each other and not dependent on one another whatsovever. However, I can't even configure the 802.1X athentication unless I first enable WEP security.

Once I've enabled WEP security with an Network Athentication set to "Shared" and the option "The key is provided automatically" checked off, my connection becomes enabled but I still can't obtain and IP address from our DHCP server. So I'm still not really connected.

Can anyone provide any nuggets of wisdom how to get this working?

    Thanks!
